On the morning of Sep.7th, Himile Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Hantong Changyang Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Nantong, with Himile Heavy Industry General Manager Zongkui Han and Hantong Group Chairman Chengjun Meng signing the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.

Himile Heavy Industry and Hantong Changyang are leading companies in their respective industries with core competitiveness. At the same time, the deep convergence of cultural visions has led to a natural cooperation between the two parties.

Himile Heavy Industry is a subsidiary of Himile Group, which started to deeply cultivate the industry in 2008 and has a factory in Gaomi and two coastal bases in Rizhao and Qidong. With the construction of the full-chain production capacity, it has become a one-stop engineering solution provider that integrates the manufacture of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, skid-mounted equipment, large modules, and the overall assembly and debugging of oil and gas and new energy floating production facilities.

The Himile Group was established in 1995, covering multiple business areas such as tire molds, high-end CNC machine tools, offshore oil and gas equipment, and high-end mechanical parts, and has created five single champion products, including tire molds and helical heat exchangers.

Hantong Changyang is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hantong Group, with rich technical accumulation and practical experience in the field of shipbuilding.

Hantong Group was established in 1998, with main businesses including marine engineering, port and shipping construction, shipbuilding, offshore wind power, and hotels. The ship design and production capacity reaches more than 4.5 million deadweight tons, covering bulk carriers, VLCCs, and large container ships with 22,000 standard containers. It is one of the leading enterprises in the industry. It’s offshore wind power business is also among the top in the country’s total installed offshore wind power.

02 Adjacent Relationship

The two parties are separated by only one wall in the Lüsi Port Economic Development Zone, with natural convenience in terms of production collaboration, logistics transportation, business communication, and other aspects, laying a geographical foundation for both parties to play their respective advantages and carry out “hull + upper module” collaborative cooperation.

In a bid to facilitate future cooperation, both parties will take into full account the supporting facilities and production coordination in the plant area planning, and reserve transport channels to effectively reduce the overall costs during the project implementation.
